Hi and welcome to our website for bicycle tour enthusiasts.
This site exists to find, read about and review bicycle tours. The types of bicycle tours that are the subject of this web site are multi-day tours, typically run and supported by tour operators. Loaded touring - where you tote all your own stuff - can be great, but hey, if you're on vacation and appreciate the convenience that a well planned and supported tour can provide, a tour may be right for you. Whether they're easy, challenging, self-directed, budget or luxurious they're all out there to find and enjoy.
Not surprisingly, bicycle tours can get kinda expensive. Keep in mind you're typically paying for your accommodations and most meals. In our experience, the more word of mouth opinion you can get before you sign up and shell out your hard earned money, the better. You need to find out if the tour is going to be right for your skill level and interests. It's not always that easy to come by that information though, and so the idea for this website was born. Even when you find a tour you like, there may be other tour operators working in the same region that might be a better fit, so the site incorporates proximity (maps) as well.

A Few Words About the Developer
I've been an avid cyclist since I got my first 10 speed Schwinn decades ago and rode it across Iowa on RAGBRAI. Over the years and on many different bicycles I've had the pleasure to do supported tours in Vermont, New Hampshire, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain and New Zealand. I built the site because I hope to find even more interesting tours to do. I also built the site simply to experiment with new technology.
